Event Description:

Welcome to the CREATE Drone National Championship tournament 2023. This is the CREATE Drone event. (The OPEN and CREATE Jr. can be found in their own event.) This year, CREATE's signature event will be held in the Iowa West Field House, right next door to the Mid-America Center. This facility will be the perfect home for the 2023 National Drone Championship. Teams from across the United States will be invited to this unique event.

(Please pay special attention to the specifications for allowed drones. It has changed from 2022.)


You can download and fill out the CREATE waiver below. If you don't have them filled out before you arrive you will need to fill them out when you arrive at the event.

Refund Policy:

All requests for refunds must be made in writing via email. Full refunds will be granted to requests made prior to 1/1/2023. Refunds of $150 will be issued to teams requesting a refund after 12/31/22 and prior to 2/1/2023. $100 refunds will be issued to teams requesting a refund prior to 3/20/2023. No refunds will be issued after 3/19/2023. (In rare cases where the user registered for the wrong event, AND CREATE is notified within 48 hours of registration, a full refund might be granted after 12/31/22.)

Due to the nature of scheduling an event of this size, there is no viable way to have contingency dates due to weather and weather-related events.
